Goshen, NH: Lisa Marie Saindon of Goshen, NH, passed peacefully after a 19-year long battle with cancer, on Monday November 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Youngtown, OH, the daughter of Victor Nespeca, Sr. and Cheryl Nolan Clayton. Lisa was also the stepdaughter of Linda Nespeca and the heart of John and Diann Leach.
Lisa was a 1983 graduate of Hubbard High School, then she received her LPN license from New Castle School of Nursing and went on to become a traveling nurse. From this experience, she met the love of her life Richard "Bill" Saindon. They married October 28, 2006, and Lisa spent the happiest years of her life in the New Hampshire mountains living in the home she and Bill built together.
Lisa was passionate about her family. She doted on all of her nieces, nephews and especially her grandchildren.
Everyone will miss her three-hour phone calls, her nonstop chatter and the mysterious packages she would send, that could include anything from a blanket to a pork roast. She was an incredibly loving and generous person.
Lisa is survived by her mother, stepmother and bonus parents. Her son Joseph (Shannon) Cornell, stepdaughter Daynia Burrill and her grandchildren, Olivia Gianni, Gabriella, Luca, Hunter and Emma. She is also survived by her siblings Lorinda (Joe) Nespeca, Lynette Hardman, Robert (Carrie) Leach, Geraldine (Vincent) Bray, Melissa (Dan) Fenza, Victor Nespeca, Jr., plus numerous nieces, nephews.
She was predeceased by her father and niece Lynette Hardman.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Neurologic ICU.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lisa's name to Norris Cotton Cancer Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756.
Arrangements are respectfully being handled by Newton-Bartlett Funeral Home.
