Lisa Gayle Scott

Lisa Gayle Scott, age 59, was born June 6, 1966 and passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Jackson. She was a retired housekeeping supervisor at Lexington High School. She is survived by her husband; Edward R. Scott, her mother; Gayle Woods, a son; Joseph Carl (Kristi ) Wood, a brother; Dan (Tina) Woods, and 2 grandchildren; Hannah Grace Wood and Emily Wood. She was preceded in death by her father; Edward Ray Woods and a brother; John E. Woods. Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 23 at 3PM at Reed's Chapel with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4PM-8PM and Tuesday 10AM until service. In lieu of flowers the family has request for memorial to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
