Lisa Kay Thacker

Lisa Kay Thacker, aged 60, of Franklin, IN, passed away on October 27, 2024. Born on March 1, 1964, Lisa was a cherished member of her community and a loving figure within her family.
Lisa graduated from Whiteland Community High School and spent her life nurturing a deep affection for the outdoors. An avid camper and fisher, she also found joy in the simple pleasures of watching her grandchildren play baseball and softball. Known for her love of animals, especially cats, Lisa was rarely seen without her beloved cat, Buddy, by her side.
Lisa's love for playing cards, particularly Phase 10, was well-known among her friends and family, providing many cherished memories of laughter-filled evenings.
She is survived by her daughters, Toshea Cress (John Cress) and Krystle Culp; ex-husband of 22 yrs Billy Thacker; siblings Carla Hurst, Tina Pence (Chad Pence), David Turpin (Charlene Turpin), Neal Mason (Treva Burton), and Mikey Mason (Jodi Mason). Lisa was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Thacker, her mothers Janice Mason and Joyce Turpin Hampton, and her father, Shelby Kaufman.
Lisa's life was marked by her warm spirit and enduring kindness, touching the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her loved ones and friends.
