Lisa D. Williams, lovingly known as "Momma Bear," was born on March 17, 1968, in Salem, Indiana. She passed away on August 5, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy enriched with love, laughter, and warmth.
Lisa was defined by her generous spirit and her unwavering commitment to her family. Every evening, she would remind her loved ones, "We have each other," encapsulating the essence of her nurturing and caring nature. Her kitchen was the heart of their home, where she delighted everyone with her incredible culinary skills—no one could resist her famous chili and meatloaf, which brought the family together over countless meals filled with joy and stories.
Her love for animals and her ability to connect with them mirrored her affectionate spirit. Lisa was not only a devoted wife to her husband Byron Williams but also a proud mother to her three wonderful children: Tyler Jacobs, Cheyenne Williams, and Bryenne Williams. Each of them carried a unique piece of her heart, shaped by her endless advice, love, and support. She was their steadfast source of encouragement, always ready to provide insights that helped them navigate life's challenges.
In addition to being a cherished wife and mother, Lisa shared a profound bond with her siblings: Robin Cooper, Kristy Holsapple, and Justin Hall. Together, they created lasting memories, and Lisa's persistent laughter and stubborn yet loving personality ensured that family gatherings were filled with joy.
Lisa's intelligence and caring nature made her a beloved confidante among her family and friends. Her knack for capturing the spontaneous and funny moments of life through her secret video recordings immortalized laughter and joy in simple, everyday events.
As the family’s living memory, she will always be remembered as a devoted and selfless individual who never hesitated to share her blessings with anyone in need. Her favorite end-of-day saying, "I love you to the moon and back," will echo in the hearts of her family forever, a testament to her profound love that transcends even the greatest distances.
Though she is now at peace, the love and lessons Lisa imparted to her family and friends will continue to shine brightly in their lives. She leaves behind a tapestry of beautiful memories that will forever be cherished by Byron, Tyler, Cheyenne, Bryenne, Robin, Kristy, and Justin, as well as all who had the honor of knowing her. Lisa D. Williams was a remarkable soul who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
