LIsa Wright Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. - Westminster on Jan. 27, 2026.
Lisa Rosette Wright (Emminger), age 57, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at BridgingLife Dove House in Westminster, MD, after a courageous and determined battle with cancer. Born on October 9, 1968, in Ankara, Turkey, Lisa lived a life rooted in love for her family, resilience, and the simple joys that meant the most to her.

Lisa was originally from York, PA, lived for many years in East Berlin, PA, and most recently made her home in Littlestown, PA. Above all else, Lisa was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her daughter and best friend, Nikki Wright and Nikki's fiancé Alex were the center of her world. Lisa treasured every moment spent with them and with her beloved grandchildren, Autumn and Mason, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

She is also survived by her sister, Lyz Doberstein of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; her mother-in-law and friend, Linda Hoffman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved deeply and held close to her heart.

Lisa was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Phil Wright; her parents, Edwin Emminger Jr. and Edith Firestone; her grandparents, Edwin and June Emminger, and Russ and Gertrude Firestone; her sister, Holly; her cousin, Bobbi Jo; her uncle, Tim; her aunts, Jody and Glenda; and many other cherished family members and friends who remained close to her heart.

Lisa worked at Ryan's Steakhouse and later at the Utz Potato Chip Factory, where she was known for her strong work ethic and kind spirit. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, watching wrestling, and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Lisa will be remembered for her strength, her deep love for her family, and the unbreakable bond she shared with those closest to her. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her grandchildren, and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply and forever missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to BridgingLife Development Office, 200 Memorial Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
