Carol S. Wright passed away on January 26, 2026 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 73 years Donald A Wright. She leaves behind (2) daughters Lynn (Lou) Spiotti, Jan (Jeff) Langswager as well as (4) grandchildren Chris (Paige) Langswager, Nick (Elizabeth) Langswager, Kristen (Mike) Tompkins, Lisa (Billy) Johnsen, (7) great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Carol was born in Rochester, NY where she attended West High School. She worked as a secretary at Lawyers Coop, then as a “stay-at-home Mom”, and a secretary at Greece Central Schools. She was an avid volunteer, working as a Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, Stages “grandparent” for at-risk kids, and numerous other organizations. She and Don were long time members of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Ridgemont Country Club. She enjoyed bowling, skiing, golfing, many different card games and a glass of good single malt scotch! Carol had a lot of cherished friendships and was regarded as a “best friend” to many people in her church, work and community circles.

She was a “pillar of strength” and will be remembered as a wonderful loving wife, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She will be sorely missed.

Many thanks to the people at the NYS Veteran’s Home in Batavia for the care they provided. In her memory a plaque will be added to Don’s Memorial Bench at Ridgemont Country Club, where they enjoyed so many happy times.

A memorial service will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church 4115 Dewey Ave, Rochester NY 14616 later this Spring.
