Lisa Young, age 57, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on December 25, 2025. Lisa was a kind and loving soul, a wonderful listener, and someone whose wit and gentle humor brought comfort to those around her. She spent her life caring for others and was a devoted and deeply loving grandmother.
Lisa found joy in the simple beauty of life. She loved plants and often said she would have been happiest living in a lush jungle surrounded by greenery. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and all things beauty. Her thoughtful spirit and caring nature touched many lives.
She is survived by her brothers, Chris Jones and Tommy Jones; by her four children, Micheal Brooks, Tiffany Brooks, Austin Young, and Danielle Young; and former spouse Danny Young. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Caden Brooks, Sebastian Rauch, Aidan Rauch, Ilyann Young, Ivoree Young, Tinslee Young, Abigale Dorman, Conner Young, Kanean Young, Susie Young, and Zeke Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Jones; her mother, Shirley Jones; her brother, Randy Sullivan; and her sister, Diane Baker.
A service honoring Lisa's life will be held at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home on January 1 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life.
Her warmth, kindness, and love for others will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
