Lisbeth A. Leber

Lisbeth Alane "Liz" Leber, 67, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, March 17, 2025. Born in York, she was the daughter of Mary Alice (O'Donnell) Sechrist and the late George S. Sechrist, Jr. Liz was the loving wife of Dennis R. Leber for 46 years.
Liz worked as an IT Analyst for AHOLD, Inc./Giant Food Stores until her retirement. She attended York Suburban, class of 1975, where she played volleyball and field hockey. For a time, she worked in her family butcher business, Sechrist Brothers in Dallastown. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and photography. Travelling across the United States with her family, she was able to try new activities, like dog sledding and horseback riding. She was a proud supporter of the Green Bay Packers and Penn State Nittany Lions.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Dr. Alaina C. Leber and Matthew R. Leber; and her four siblings, George S. Sechrist, III, Jacob W. Sechrist, II and wife, Lynne, Stephanie A. Stough and husband, Warren, and Lori A. Klucker.
A funeral service will be held at 9AM on Thursday, March 27 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Interment will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Family and friends are invited to view from 8AM until the time of service.
