Lisette Takahashi Mezones

Lisette Takahashi Mezones, 45, of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. Lisette was born in Lima, Peru, on December 11, 1979. She began dating her partner (former neighbor), Carlos I. Beytia Malca, in 1997. In 2009, they left Peru with their two children to start a new life in Miami, Florida. A strong, independent, and courageous woman, Lisette loved to spread seeds of love wherever she went. She dedicated her life to her family, friends, and community, always lending a helping hand and never complaining and life's challenges. Lisette is preceded in death by her loving grandmother, Carmen Rosa Cruz, who raised her as a daughter; her father, Hector Toshiyuki Takahashi Sakura; and her sister, Veronica Takahashi. She is survived by her partner of 28 years, Carlos I. Beytia Malca; her daughter, Karla F. Beytia Takahashi, 25; and her son, Mariano Beytia, 18. A visitation ceremony will be held at the Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. As requested by Lisette, all attending guests are asked to wear her favorite colors, white and/or lilac.
