Lissie Shirley Obituary
Born January 4, 1930, in Habersham County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Winnie Landers Loudermilk.
Mrs. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a member of the American Legion and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Family members include her sons, Jack Shirley (Cathy), Jake Shirley (Teresa) and Johnny N. Shirley (Cheryl); daughter, Jimmie S. Franklin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, A. D. Shirley; and a granddaughter, Keri Rose Shirley.
Graveside services were held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 216 Turnerville Circle, Clarkesville, GA 30523.
