Lizabeth Ann Marie Norton

Funeral service for Ann Norton will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 11, 2025 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, La with Bro. Shane Duke reading the Eulogy and Chris Wyant delivering the message with interment following in Columbia Hill Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday at Riser Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Lizabeth Ann Marie Silvie Norton, a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 57. A lifelong resident of Grayson, Louisiana, Lizabeth was known for her love, support, and the pride she took in being there for her family at every moment, big or small.

Lizabeth was born on July 30, 1968, to Hazel Marie and Joseph Silvie, both of whom preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Francis Mark Silvie and Matthew Evan Silvie. Lizabeth was shaped by the love and strength of her family and carried those values with her throughout her life. She would always say “I love you” anytime she left—whether after a phone call or a visit.

On July 15, 1990, Lizabeth married the love of her life, Gerald Edward Norton. Together, they shared 35 years of marriage filled with laughter, challenges, and a love that stood the test of time.

Lizabeth was the proud mother of four children: Cristian Silvie LeJeune (Jeff), Joseph Wyant (Jennifer), Thomas Wyant (Joni), and Lacey Norton. Her greatest joy in life was being “MawMaw” to her grandchildren—Cameron LeJeune, Abigail LeJeune, Rylie Wyant, Gabriel LeJeune, Adrian Wyant, Ezekiel LeJeune, Paisley Wyant, and Harper  Wyant.

She also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, and their children, all of whom she loved dearly and supported with the same generous spirit she gave to her own children and grandchildren.

Lizabeth was a constant presence in the lives of those she loved. Her family was her world, and her unwavering devotion left a mark that will be felt for generations.

Pallbearers will be Micheal W Norton, Micheal E Norton, Michael Keeble, Dustin Wyant, Daniel Norton, Marcus Silvie.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
