Lloyd Thomas Carr, Jr., “Bucky”, 68, passed away March 27, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Bucky was born April 5, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Lloyd Thomas Carr, Sr. and Beula (Brown) Carr. He was an auto mechanic for over 50 years and later also was a part owner in a car dealership. Bucky enjoyed Nascar, fishing, hunting and camping. Most of all, he loved his family.

Bucky was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nina Coomer and his brother in law Harry Coomer.  Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Viola Carr, “Sissy”; son Lloyd Myers (Jessica); son Michael Myers; son Gary Carr (Sabrina); daughter Edie Baird (Johnathon); daughter Linda Duncan; daughter Annie Willis; grandchildren Christian, Kelsi, Daylon, Kayla, Morgan, Skyler, Landen, Heavenly, Lily, Jared, Rebecca, Hunter, Zac, Alysa, and David; brother Phil Brown (Joyce); sister Carolyn Myers (Dale); sister Beverly Greenwell (Genaro); and several great grandchildren. Bucky is loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5-8PM, Tuesday, April 2 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
