Lloyd Lindell "Linn" Cops

Lloyd "Linn" Lindell Cops, age 76, a longtime Lane, OK resident, was born on Wednesday, April 9, 1947, to James Belo and Ida Lucille (Griffin) Cops, at Oklahoma City, OK. Linn passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home in Lane, OK surrounded by his loved ones. He attended Oklahoma City Public Schools and graduated from Atoka High School. Linn was a electrician, worked at Lane School two different times, and retired from Oklahoma Department of Corrections after 30 years of service. to them. He married Linda Mae (New) on Sunday, July 3rd, 1966 at Lane, OK. They celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing. They rode their motorcycle to all 50 states. Linn was a member of Lane Baptist Church. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, collecting and rebuilding cars, floating Blue River on fishing tube, fishing, traveling and being with his loved ones.. He was one of the founders of McGee Creek Bass Club and a member of GWRR Motorcycle Club.
Linn is survived by his wife, Linda Mae Cops of the home in Lane, OK; children, James Lindell Cops and wife Misty of Lane, OK, Leah Beaird and husband B.J. of Boswell, OK; grandchildren, Linsey Nagorski and husband Kalin of Atoka, OK, Haley Camp and husband Jesse of Lane, OK, Emiley Beaird of Caddo, OK, Bryson Tuck of Lane, OK, Hunter Rose and wife Krysten of Connerville, OK, Greenlee Tuck of Lane, OK; great grandchildren, Kolt Nagorski of Atoka, OK, Mila Nagorski of Atoka, OK, Lily Rose of Connerville, OK, Hunter Rose of Connerville, OK; brothers, Jimmy Cops of Oklahoma City, OK, Duard Cops of Oklahoma City, OK, Richard Kohlhaas of Missouri; sisters, Robyn Kohlhaas Bradford and husband Eddie of Seabrooke, TX, Sara Cunningham and husband Rex of Oklahoma City, OK, Susan Thomas and husband Steve of Maud, OK; sister in law, DeAnn Priddy and husband Bobby of Milburn, OK; brother in law, Buddy New of Milburn, OK; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Linn was preceded in death by his parents, James Belo Cops and Ida Lucille (Griffin) Cops Dunn; brothers, William Cops, Larry Cops; sister, Sharon Cops.
