Lloyd Harrell Obituary
Mr. Harrell was born May 18, 1942, to the late Elmer and Luella (Beaver) Harrell, in Lookout, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Carol (Jack) Fish, a brother, Leroy (Inge), a daughter, Julia Leilich, and a grandson, Samual Burdette.
Mr. Harrell is survived by his children, Lloyd Jr., Rosie (Jason) Smith, Shannon (Fonda) Harrell, Marion (Jamie) Lopez, and Misty Harrell. His Grandchildren Roger Leilich, Ethan Harrell, Lillian McMilion, Emma Workman, Sophia Blankenship, Grace Harrell, Mosie Hicks, Jordan Burdette, Karissma Burdette, Jaret Lopez and Emily Lopez and four great-grandchildren: Canyon Leilich, Levi Harrell, Dylan Bragg, and Cole Workman; Siblings Shirley McDaniel Callison, Brenda (Wilson) Bowen, Hilbert (Sandra) Harrell, Herbert (Brenda) Harrell, Helen (Dick) McCranie.
Lloyd served in the Air Force and was stationed in England from 1961 to 1964. He retired from the Meadow River Coal Mines, Lookout, WV. He founded the Nuttall Volunteer Fire Station where he once served as Fire Chief. Lloyd also lived in Manning, SC, and Nicaragua, where he enjoyed many adventures and fishing.
A gathering for friends and family will be at the Nuttall Community Center, Lookout, WV on Saturday, August 23, 12:00-2:00.
