Mr. Lee Harrell, 91, of Acworth formally of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026 at home surrounded by family.

Lee was born January 19, 1935 in Draketown Community of Haralson County, Georgia, the son of the late John Webster Harrell and the late Myrtice Izora Jones Harrell. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp where he serves as Master Sargent. After serving our great nation, he worked for Georgia Hydraulics. His military years never truly left, he always enjoyed exercising and working out even into his 90's. He was a member of the American Legion. Lee was a faithful member of Fullerville Baptist Church in Villa Rica for over 30 years. When he moved to Acworth, he became a member of Picketts Mill Baptist Church. He was a hardworking, Godly man that loved his family and country.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Lunsford Harrell, sisters, Doris Brown and Joann Argo along with brother, Charles Harrell.

Lee is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Michelle Harrell of Acworth, brothers, Frank (Lynda) Harrell of Temple, John Harrell of Rehoboth, MA, sister, June Jordan of Powder Springs, grandchildren, Mack Harrell, Charlie Harrell and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at J. Collins Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Brian Harrell, Mack Harrell and Charlie Harrell officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunrise Gardens of Memories with David Ivey, Tim Davis, Mack Harrel, Jamie Christie and Charlie Harrell serving as pallbearers. The United States Marine Corp Honor Guard will provide military honors.
