Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Ray Emmons, of Mableton, GA passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born in Paulding County, GA the daughter of the late W.D. Ray and the late Mrs. Jessie Fuller Ray. She loved fishing, spending time with her family and enjoyed going to the beach. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church in Mableton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Edward who passed away March 30, 2018, and her siblings, Ronnie Ray, Henry Ray, E.D. Ray, Carolyn Ray, Bobby Jean Levi, Peggy Sue Ray and a grandchild, Joshua Lynn Little.

Survivors include 3 children Debra Samples, of Mableton, Steve and Diane Vaughn and Lamar and Brenda Vaughn all of Villa Rica, brothers and sisters, Allen Hicks of Villa Rica, Margaret McAlister of Greenville, SC. Lynn McWatters of Villa Rica, 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends at J. Collins Funeral Home Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be conducted from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating.

Interment will follow in Melrose Hills Gardens of Memories with the following gentlemen service as pallbearers: Thomas Ray, Raymond Hartley, William Vaughn, Donavin Vaughn, Grady O'Shields and Jake Shearwood. Randall Velasco, Jr. will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
