He was born in Owensboro, KY to the late Charles Kellems Sr. and Daisy Kellems of Villa Grove, IL. He was a 1973 graduate of Villa Grove High School. Lloyd was a retired over the road truck driver.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Villa Grove, IL. He enjoyed time with his family and going to church.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Marilyn, two sons John Shrum Jr (Courtenay) of Diboll, TX and Jeffery Golightly of Villa Grove, IL. He had 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Three brothers, Casper Kellems (Mary Lou) of Villa Grove, IL, Jim Kellems (Julie) of Urbana, IL, Murray Kellems of Rockford, IL and one sister, Debbie Scott (David) of Tuscola, IL.
Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Charles Kellems Jr. and Albert Kellems, and a great granddaughter Brooklyn Kay Adkins.
Celebration of Life to be held at First Christian Church of Villa Grove, IL on October 19th, 2024 with the visitation from 1 pm to 3 pm. Followed immediately with a memorial service at 3 pm. Everyone is Welcome.
His Cremation is Entrusted to All Families Mortuary.
