Lloyd Douglas Levinsky

Lloyd Levinsky, beloved husband, father, grandfather, partner, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 2, 2025, following an eighteen-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 88.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Lloyd excelled as a student-athlete, earning a basketball scholarship to the University of Houston. He later built a successful career in Arizona as an entrepreneur and commercial land broker. Throughout his life he was known for his integrity, generosity, and steady devotion to family and friends. Golf remained his greatest passion, and he took pride in the close community he and his wife, Susan, created while raising their three children. Lloyd was also devoted to his seven grandchildren, who enjoyed his humor and intelligence.
After Susan's passing in 2018, Lloyd continued to live with purpose, finding new companionship and joy with his partner Sandy, whose family welcomed him with warmth and affection.
Lloyd is survived by his children Stuart (Nicole), Dale (Greg), and Michael, his brother Richard, six grandchildren, and many lifelong friends. A private memorial was held in Scottsdale. Donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
