Lloyd Leon Skidmore

August 1, 1937 – January 6, 2026

Lloyd Leon Skidmore passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on August 1, 1937, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lloyd moved to Sacramento, California, as an infant, where he would spend the rest of his life.

On May 7, 1971, Lloyd married the love of his life, Robin Elizabeth Wright. Together, they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, perseverance, and love.

Lloyd was a strong-willed and tenacious man who always knew what he wanted. Despite being born with disabilities, he never allowed them to define or limit him. His determination and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him. Lloyd had a deep and unwavering love for the Lord, which guided him throughout his life.

He dedicated his career to helping others through his work with Easter Seals, an organization committed to supporting disabled children, adults, and veterans. His compassion and commitment made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Outside of work, Lloyd enjoyed collecting tools-a hobby that reflected his practical nature and appreciation for craftsmanship.

Lloyd will be remembered for his strength, faith, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy is one of perseverance, service, and devotion.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Lloyd Bailey Skidmore and Lovena Ora Skidmore (Smith).

He is survived by his beloved wife, Robin, who will cherish his memory forever.
