Carlos Armando Solis passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2026 in the care of his beloved wife Jennifer, daughter Jessica, and son in law Raymundo. He was born in Ciudad de Juarez Mexico on January 11, 1956, and has lived in Rio Linda for over 50 plus years. Carlos is survived by wife Jennifer, daughter Jessica, son in law Raymundo, and grandson Jackson. He was a loving husband to his wife of 18 years. Carlos was an amazing father and grandfather. Carlos loved, cherished and enjoyed being devoted to his family. To be there when he was needed and to be the peace maker. He is saddened to leave behind his sisters Gloria and Magdalena; brothers Javier, Ernesto, and Freddy; many niece and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Carlos was loved by many as a Son, Brother, Uncle, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Cousin, a dear friend, co worker, and coach to at least multiple generations of players. Carlos was involved in the Rio Linda community in many ways wether it was working at a McMillians Hardware Store, True Value Hardware Store, Coached Girls High School Basketball at Rio Linda High School, Coach for Girls Fast Pitch Bobby Socks, Running for Honorary Mayor in 2010 when he was President for Bobby Socks, Working for Home Depot and other various jobs, he enjoyed and had the great honor of preforming up to 18 marriages and some renewals of vows, and lastly Working for EDD as an Analyst. Carlos coached Girls Fast Pitch Softball, Travel Ball and Girls High School Basketball for a combined total of 33 wonderful years. He was a beloved coach for so many girls especially for Bobby Sock Girls Fast Pitch, Travel Ball (Cygnets & Pegasus) and how he created them. Carlos worked for the State of California EDD as a Trainer, and an Analyst. Carlos and Jennifer met at the same job, and how they became friends, and later they were married. Carlos would help Jennifer with her learning disability to learn the new systems and applications. That was important as a trainer. Carlos was a hard worker, he trained many coworkers in many different systems and programs. Every year Carlos and Jennifer would enjoy meeting up with their coworkers during Christmas time for the yearly reunion. Carlos and Jennifer would catch up to see what their friends were doing in their family lives. Carlos was being his normal social self. He was saddened to have missed this years reunion, however they brought the reunion to him with love and prayers. Even though he will be missed he will be accompanied by his mother Olga Solis, and Father Javier Solis, and his four heavenly granddaughters Cuba, Havana, Valeria and Angel. Carlos Armando Solis will truly be missed by many.
