Lloyd Frank Vix, died on June 15, 2023, at 7:30pm, with his family by his side in Kenner, Louisiana. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and friends. He was born January 10, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Vix, his mother Camille Kelly Vix and his brother Michael Vix. The family resided in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lloyd met his love of his life Beverly Migliore Vix when he was 13 years old. Their first date was at the movies. They were married on November 28, 1964. They had been married for 59 years. The family resided in Kenner, Louisiana. His hobbies and interests included family, fishing, boating, and watching TV. Lloyd was a commercial fisherman, and his nick name was "Suga." He loved being a fisherman and being on the water. He never met a stranger! He was loved by everyone he met because he was easy- going, friendly, fun loving, and always joking around. He was a proud father and grandpa as well. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Migliore Vix, daughters, Tristen Vix (Randy Rappold) and Heather Vix Figueredo (Alex), grandchildren, Arrianne Yvonne Figueredo and Alexander Michael Figueredo, grand pups Benji and Gris Gris. And Beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great, great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank Hospice Associates. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner.
