LODIA TELLA

TELLA, Lodia (Travasso) Age 99, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, Friday July 4, 2025, at Royal Braintree Nursing and Rehabilitation, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of Emilio Tella, who died in 1997. Lodia was the loving mother of Rudolf Tella, who died in 1988. Born March 7, 1926, in Sessano Del Molise, Italy, the daughter of the late Antonio and Philomena (Di Ianni) Travasso; and sister of the late Rodolfo Travasso. She was a resident of Franklin for over 60 years. She was educated in Italy and worked for Ciba Corning in Medfield. Lodia enjoyed cooking, especially homemade polenta and pasta with her granddaughter, gardening, crocheting and knitting. She is survived by her granddaughter, Katherine Heather Tella; and daughter-in-law, Edith R. Tella, both of Randolph. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral on Thursday, July 10, at 9AM, from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin, at 10AM. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
