Logan Andrews Gardner

Logan Andrews Gardner passed on from this life and into the arms of Jesus on May 10, 2024. Although his time on Earth ended so soon, he gave a lifetime of love and happiness to his family.
Visitation will be at 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Pinetops Baptist Church.
Logan blessed us with his presence as a complete surprise. It was almost 6 months before we realized he was coming. My mother told me everything was going to be alright. And like always, she was right. Being apprehensive about life with 3 quickly disappeared when he made his grand entrance in our world. He was the baby we didn't know we needed. Logan fit right in with all the Gardner boys. And the older boys accepted him in every part of their adventures. They watched him grow and were excited about each milestone Logan would learn. We knew Logan would thrive with his brothers and cousins. Logan was a happy baby and had a smile that you could feel in your heart. His laugh was confident and sounded so sweet. I hope I can always remember his baby sounds. Logan was very curious and kept busy. He enjoyed finding all the things that he wasn't supposed to have. The game of chase would ensue as you try to wrangle the item from his strong little fingers. Just like his daddy, Logan never knew a stranger. That is one of my favorite traits about all 5 of my Gardner boys. They will open up and talk to anyone. Logan unplugged everything in the house, laughing every time. Logan made sure our dog, Lady, was always well fed with plenty of snacks and half of his dinner. Logan loved to eat. He would try just about anything. If he didn't like it, the food would come out just as fast as it went in. He got a thrill of standing and turning around in his highchair. The game really started when he would bounce up and down on his food while I attempted to sit him correctly in his chair and encourage him to finish his meal. Calming Logan was usually pretty easy. He was the most content when he would sit with his daddy on the couch and watch Ms. Rachel. As they watched, I couldn't help but look at Logan with adoration and joy. His sweet expressions lightened my whole heart. Some days, I could not believe we made another beautiful baby boy. My boys will always be my greatest craft. I find the most comfort in knowing that, in a time of sadness for our family, all he knew was love. And as empty as it feels to know he will not grow up; he will never know pain. He will always be pure and perfect. Remember my baby, and my boys. I understand now more than ever how precious life is.
Logan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James "Bit" Gardner; and maternal grandparents, Henry Ewing Allred and Mary Haynes Allred.
He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Mary MacRae Gardner; brothers, Braxton James Gardner and Chase Douglas Gardner; paternal grandmother, Renda Gardner; uncles, James Holt "Jim" Gardner and his wife Tiffany Urban Gardner, Franklin Crowell Allred, and Andrews Haynes Allred; and cousins, Bryce Anthony Gardner, Scott Holt Gardner, Ava MacRae Allred, and Ryker Crowell Allred.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Pinetops Baptist Church.
