Logan Deimer (Dee) Herriman Jr. was born on June 7, 1949, to his parents Logan D. Herriman Sr. and Mary Edith Herriman. He was a member of the Hillsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Herriman worked for BRC sawmill for many years. He also worked for B & M Paving. His last job was with the Coffee County Highway Department.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sally Ann Wells Herriman, his brother-in-law Lee Cantrell, and several aunts and uncles.
Mr. Herriman is survived by his sister Sarah Ann Herriman Cantrell; sister-in-law Kleda (Bill) Brooks; 3 stepsons Dexter (Lisa) Wells, Don (Lynn) Wells, Al (Dee Dee) Wells; 2 nephews Benjamin Allen (Sheba) Cantrell, Matthew Lynn (Amanda) Cantrell; 6 very special step grandchildren; and 14 step great-grandchildren. Dee was loved by his family and many who knew him.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 2:00pm at Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery with burial to follow.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing for his care for the past few years.
