"His smile could light up any room, and his laughter was the soundtrack of pure joy"
With hearts heavy beyond measure, we announce the passing of precious Logan James Parrott, who was called home far too soon. Born on May 12, 2024, and departed on August 30, 2025, Logan brought immeasurable light and love into the lives of his parents, Michelle Frost and James Dean Parrott, Jr.
Though Logan's time on earth was short, every single day was filled with the kind of unbridled joy and wonder that only a child can bring. His infectious laughter echoed through the halls of his home, and his radiant smile had the power to turn any ordinary moment into something magical. Logan approached life with the fearless curiosity of youth, running, playing, and discovering the world around him with wide-eyed amazement.
Logan found his greatest happiness in the simple pleasures of childhood. He delighted in trips to the park, where he would throw a ball with the determined enthusiasm that only a little one possesses. Playing catch wasn't just a game to Logan, it was a chance to connect, to laugh, and to share precious moments with those he loved. His helpful spirit shone brightest when he grabbed his very own little mop to assist his mom with the floors, a task he approached with the same joy other children might reserve for their favorite toys.
His love for animals reflected his gentle, caring nature, and family gatherings were made brighter by his presence. Logan was captivated by Miss Rachel's learning shows, absorbing knowledge with the same appetite he had for his favorite foods. Everything Logan did, he did with his whole heart, whether it was learning something new, dancing to music, playing with his beloved siblings, or simply being present in the moment.
Logan leaves behind his devoted parents, Michelle Frost and James Dean Parrott, Jr., and his cherished siblings: brothers Sean Thomas Parrott and Landon Dean Parrott, and sister Aubree Lashae Parrott. He was the treasured great-grandson of Anna Elizabeth Lee and grandson of Janice Ann Frost, Benny Charles Deal, and Mary Ann Parrott. His uncles Quinton Lee Frost and Justin Allen Frost, along with his aunt Brittany LeAnn Ford, will forever hold his memory close, as will a host of other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by his beautiful spirit.
Logan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jimmy Dean Parrott, and his paternal great grandmother, Georgia Polson, who we trust are now holding him close in eternal peace.
While we struggle to understand why such a bright light was dimmed so early, we find comfort in knowing that Logan's impact on our lives will never fade. His laughter will forever echo in our memories, his smile will remain etched in our hearts, and his love will continue to bind our family together. Though our arms ache to hold him and our hearts break with his absence, we are blessed to have been chosen as the people who got to love Logan James Parrott.
In a world that can often seem dark, Logan was the sunshine. In moments that felt ordinary, Logan made them extraordinary. In the brief time we had together, Logan taught us that love isn't measured in years, it's measured in moments, in smiles, in the simple joy of a child helping his mama mop the floor.
Logan's legacy is not defined by the shortness of his life, but by the immensity of the love he gave and received. He will be missed beyond words and remembered beyond time.
Rest in perfect peace, sweet Logan.
All services will be private, and the family asks for continued prayers for today and the days to come.
