I didn't know Logan but I knew the Little family. Elizabeth and my daughter were friends and I knew Nana Jane and met Emily and Sarah several times. Living in Florida, we have the pleasure of seeing Papa Lanny, and Susan, from time to time.
There are no words I could possible say to take away the pain and the loss that the entire family is feeling. All I can say is that we, as a society, need to do better for kids who don't fit this "mold" that we think all kids need to fit into. Kindness and compassion matter. Understanding that we aren't all carbon copies of one another matters. Logan was a bright, talented and amazing young man. He deserved better. I had the pleasure of reading his book of poetry. I was left in awe and saddened that his star will no longer shine upon us all. Taken too soon, Logan, but you will never be forgotten.

As much as Logan and I didn´t talk everyday when I moved he still found time to text me at least once a week and hear my accomplishments. He was proud no matter what. I struggled with friends In pewaukee and Logan was truly one of my best friends. I have a text from him saved saying "No matter what I´ll always be proud." He was such a kind soul.

I will remember Logan smiling in the PHS weight room and writing poetry in our class. Logan had a natural talent for writing poetry that touched your soul. It was an honor to work with him and coach him with his writing. He will be deeply missed.
