On July 19, 2024, Logan Elizabeth (Carey) Turnham left this earth, leaving a hole in the hearts of her family and many friends.
Logan was born September 10, 1993, in Dallas, Texas to Basil Dwayne Carey and Kristin Gay Cole. She lived in Corsicana, Texas until the family moved to “Hokeyhoma” when Logan was five years old. Logan and Karson moved to Okeene and Canton, OK but returned to Edmond in 2015.
Logan attended Edmond Public Schools and graduated from Memorial High School in 2012.
Logan and Kenneth Karson Turnham were married on April 4, 2015. Family was the center of Logan’s world. She found her greatest joy in her kids, whether taking them to the splash pad or the park, as long as they were together.
Logan was a very social person who enjoyed her work and the friends she gained at Oklahoma Heart Hospital where she was an Advance Unlicensed Assistant to nurses. They were her second family. She loved helping others and was able to do so at the hospital.
Logan loved reading, movie lines, inappropriate humor, and was quick-witted. Logan absolutely loved books! She would talk about the books she had read or the ones on her list to read.
Logan was also a planner. She always had a plan and loved to talk about the future and do whatever she needed to accomplish it. She was very determined.
She was kind, loyal, didn’t judge people and loved them as they were. She would have your back but if you crossed her, she would want to slash your tires!!
She is preceded in death by her Nannie Mary Josephine Draper, Poppa Bobby Cole, Pawpaw Don McGraw and Grandpa Kenneth Carey.
Logan is survived by her beloved family, her husband Karson; children Korey Rian Turnham, Callie Elizabeth Turnham and Cole Riley Turnham; mother Kristin Cole; father Basil and Cristi Carey; brother Chad Carey; sisters Caitie Daniel, Laurel Daniel, Mary Celeste Daniel, and Amelia Daniel; grandmothers Barbara Cole McGraw and Wilma Carey Grimes; aunts and uncles Kim & Paul Lester, Kari & Chris Ivey, Ricky & Diane McGraw, Donna & Ed Bator, Debbie McGraw & Christy Taylor and Brian & Tina Carey; her many cousins who loved her dearly, nine nephews and six nieces and her pets Katy Paige and Mila Mae.
