Lois (Louie, Wonderful Gramma) Bach, of Otsego went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 17 at the age of 71. She passed away peacefully with family by her side. Lois was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 27, 1953, to Clarence and Chris (Peisl) Caley. She is leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories.
Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Here is what her grandkids had to say, "My wonderful Grandma was smart, adorable, creative, and funny; absolutely, perfectly wonderful...inside and out, was always doing things for others, and was always kind".
She loved to garden. She was a great baker. She enjoyed arts and crafts and sewing as well; creating crafts and sewing costumes and clothes for everyone she knew. Lois was the family tailor. She also enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Northern Michigan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dave Delemme; her children: Paul (Cindy) Bach and Darcy (Scott) Tuinstra; her daughter-in-law Amanda Bach; 3 grandchildren: Sarah (Josh), Sam and Matthew; her sister Mary, brother Mike (Val) and brother-in-law Roger as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Chris and Russ Lash, her sister Chris and her son John Bach.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Avink, McCowen and Secord Funeral Homes and Cremation Society, 120 S. Woodhams St., Plainwell (269) 685-5881. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. The interment will follow the service at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
