Lois J. (Mosher) Barnes, Died May 5, 2023 at the Westfield Genesis Center in Westfield where she had been receiving care since late January of 2023. Lois was born in West Springfield on January 28, 1930 the daughter of Walter S. and Helena (Bissell) Mosher. She was a life-long resident of Westfield where she resided in the home her husband Edward built in 1964. Lois graduated from West Springfield High School in 1948 and worked for many years at the 'Third National Bank' in West Springfield. Lois enjoyed dabbling in the arts and was a member of a local Music Club, Book Club and a Still Life Art painting group. In her youth Lois graced the stage as a model and also performed in local theater productions such as the comedy, "My Sister Eileen" as Eileen. Lois was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Edward C. Barnes in 2018, her brother W. Deane Mosher, sisters Elaine G. Mosher and Virginia I. (Mosher) (Grolemund) Bauer. She is survived by a cousin Ronald B. Hill his wife and family in West Springfield, her life long friends Joyce (J.B.) Boguszewski, Charlotte Pauze of Westfield and Allen Paul of Holyoke.
