Lois Ann Denlinger

Lois A. Denlinger, 75, of Dubuque, IA, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Harmony Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Key West Church with Fr. Martin Obeng officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Peosta, IA.

Lois was born on March 26, 1950, the daughter of Aloysius Sr. and Janet (Foust) Kemp. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School Class of 1968. She made her life as a homemaker.

She was a constant source of encouragement, always taking great pride in her family. It was important to Lois to always attend everyone's events. Going to BINGO with her grandchildren was her favorite.

Lois is survived by her children, Ann (Dan Klaas) Denlinger, Carrie (Rodney) Kremer, Tammy (Nick) Benoit, Kelly (Jason) Kintzle, Martin (Cory) Denlinger, Carl (Deanna Noonan) and Calvin (Sandy) Denlinger; grandchildren, Clare (Austin) Vander Haak and Charlie Cook, Tyler, Holly, Megan and Amber Kremer, Jacob and Thomas Benoit, Justina Denlinger, Kory, Josie, Kasie and Jase Kintzle, Nora and Lucy Denlinger, Carol, Martin and Jonathan Denlinger, Cadence and William Denlinger; four great grandchildren, Payton, Mason and Braxton Vander Haak and Connor Denlinger; siblings, Paul (Sue) Kemp, Carol (Alois) Bilgri, Wilfred (Alice) Kemp, Eugeneo (Jan) Kemp, Jim (Kathy) Kemp, Jean Ann (Mark) Parrett; brother and sisters-in-law, Tom Felderman, Cliff Pfab, Helen Kemp, and Connie Kemp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Aloysius "John" Kemp Jr., Loras Kemp and two sisters, Elaine Felderman and Janet Pfab.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque, the nurses and staff at Harmony and Finley 5th floor and ICU. Also, her friends that supported her over the years.
