Lois Jean King, age 98, of White Oak, PA, died on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She was born in McKeesport, PA, on October 28, 1926, and is the daughter of the late George and Grace Opel Bash.
She was a former volunteer at UPMC McKeesport, a former member of UPMC McKeesport Women’s Committee, and a long-time member of Beulah Park United Methodist Church in McKeesport, PA.
Lois is survived by her children, Harry G. (Sharon) King of North Huntingdon, PA; Lynn A. (the late Barbara) King of McKeesport, PA; Carol J. (Pat) Wills of Sun City Center, FL; Cynthia J. (Drew) Graham of White Oak, PA; Suzan D. (the late Fred) Gibbons of Elizabeth Township, PA; Kelly K. (Michelle) King of Palm Coast, FL; and Stacey J. (John) Cleveland of Fort Myers, FL; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Harry “Corky” K. King; and sisters, Nancy A. (the late Leonard) Douglas; June E. (the late James) Shank; Ella (the late George) Victor; and Violet (the late Angus) McMillan.
Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Lois’s memory on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412 678 6177). Services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A burial will follow at McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
