Lois Elaine Lloyd

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Elaine Lloyd, of Pennsville, NJ, who left us peacefully on December 19, 2025 at the age of 84.

Lois was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by unconditional love and unwavering strength. Born in Pedricktown, NJ on March 23, 1941 to the late Mary Elizabeth Doran (Lloyd), she grew up in Pedricktown, moving to Pennsville her junior year of high school, graduating the following year and becoming part of the first class to do so at Pennsville Memorial High School.

Lois chose a career in banking that she retired from with over 30 years of service. Her passions were vast: an Elvis junkie, traveling foodie, yarn-spinner extraordinaire, genealogy and Sudoku wizard, and could teach a few DIY master classes.

While she cherished many roles throughout life, her most significant and impactful was that of a mother and mentor to her nephew Carl Doran. She instilled in him the values of resilience, dedication and hard work that he carries on proudly today. Their bond was a beautiful example of how love and commitment can re-define family.

She is survived by her half sister, Judy Quindlen (Doran); her loving nephew, Carl Doran; Carl's children, Carl Kenneth, Joshua David and Rebecka Elayne; several cousins and extended family.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 080988. There will be a visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment will follow the service at the First Baptist Church of Pedricktown Cemetery.
