Sandra D. Adams

Sandra D. Adams, 78, of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 14, 2026, at Autumn Lake at Southgate.

Sandra was born on April 11, 1947 to the late Joseph and Anita Jacobs. She grew up in Pennsville's "Pig's Eye" (Plow Point Road) where she helped with cutting grapes on the family vineyard. She attended Pennsville Memorial High School before continuing her education at Salem Community College, where she graduated as valedictorian.

Sandra dedicated much of her life to caring for others. For many years she served as a Host Home Provider, opening her home and heart to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through this work, she created a family style environment where those in her care were supported.

In her younger years, Sandra enjoyed fishing and had a knack for building and fixing computers. In later years, she enjoyed playing computer games and watching nostalgic television shows.

Above all, Sandra will be remembered for her deep love for the Lord.

Sandra is survived by her children: Jennifer Hopman, Daniel Hopman, Joshua Hopman (Jayme), and PJ Miller. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Juliette Hopman-Mattson. She is also survived by her sister, Natalie Strumbeck, and her grandchildren, Daniel, Sara, Christian and Leah.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
