Lois Marie Jaggers Thomas, age 93 of Clute, Texas passed away peacefully on August 25,2025 surrounded by her cherished family.
Lois married the love of her life Jasper V. Thomas. Together celebrating 74
wonderful years. During their time together they made homes in Louisiana and Texas.
She was a hard worker as a housewife, mother, and working at Angleton – Danbury Hospital and Sandy Sweets.
She loved her family deeply. Her favorite pass time was making her children wedding cakes, painting, word search and simply spending time with family. Her warmth, strength, and love for the outdoors will be remembered by all who knew her.
Lois is preceded in death by her mother Bertha Mae Jaggers, father John Willie Jaggers and husband Jasper V. Thomas.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Jasper Thomas (Cynthia)
Novellia Hollingsworth (Robert)
Dudley Thomas and Losha Harbour.
8 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grand children.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons. Robby Hollingsworth, Shane Hollingsworth, John McBride, William Robertson, Jimmy Miley,James Davison,Ethan Garcia, Howard Miley.
Honorary pallbearers will be great grandson and great great grandsons Jarrod McBride, Anthony Gamboa Alexander Gamboa, Seth McDonald, Cody Thomas,Jenson Thomas.
Funeral services will be held August 29th, 2025, at Stroud Funeral Home 538 N. Highway 288B, Clute Texas 77531.
Visitation will take place from 1-2 pm with the service and graveside to follow.

Lois leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter and family that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
