Lois Jane Miller, 85, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She was born in Ranger, Georgia on February 16, 1939, to the late Jay and Clomia Long West. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Troy West; sister, Jewell West; great-great-grandson, Mason Wesson. Prior to retirement she was employed by Lacey Mills as shipping supervisor and was a member of the 1959 graduating class of Fairmount High School.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Herbert Luther Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Veronica Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Bobby Silvers; brothers, Raymond West, Gene West; sisters, Ester Pinyan, Hazel Townsend; grandchildren, Ashley Silvers, Autumn Silvers, Amber Holland, Austen Lane Miller, Augustus Leevi Miller, Sahvannah L. Miller; great-grandchildren, Michael Wesson, McKinlee Wesson, Shay Holland, Sawyer Holland, Oakleigh Miller, Winston Miller.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Rev. Bryan Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Austen Lane Miller, Augustus Leevi Miller, Bobby Silvers, Adrian Elkins, Josh Wheaton, and Chris Holland. Honorary pallbearers are Douglas Lee Evans, Hank Henry Smith, Winston Luther Miller, Sawyer Holland and Michael Ryan Wesson.
