October 10, 1949 - February 17, 2025
Survived by husband, Robert; daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Matthew Radik; brothers, Paul Dankert, Roger Dankert (Ellie), and Mark Dankert (Cathy Langfeldt).
VISITATION: Sunday, March 2nd, from 5 to 7 p.m., at West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Monday, March 3rd, 10 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 5529 Leavenworth St., with Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard Honors. INTERMENT: Bohemian Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church Ladies Guild.

Bob and Rachel~I am so sorry for your loss. I was always SO grateful for the care Lois gave to Kathleen throughout her illness. Both Kathleen and Lois watched my daughter Joelle for a couple of weeks when I had to return to work and she wasn´t old enough for daycare yet. I believe that was such a gift to Kathleen, but not possible without Lois´s help. I think of them both in Heaven right now doing what they couldn´t enjoy because of Kathleen´s limitations. Thank you for sharing her with our family.

Lois was one of my first mentors as a new RN on Six West. She was no-nonsense, ran a tight ship, and taught me the fundamentals of nursing. Her example has remained in my heart and mind throughout the years. I feel so blessed to have known her and very privileged to be one of those nurses under her wing. She will be deeply missed.
