Lois E. Ryan

Lois Ryan, age 93, passed peacefully on December 9, 2025 in Bay City, Michigan. Lois was born November 19, 1932 in Pasadena CA. She grew up in Unionville MI, one of 9 siblings, where she was taught in a one room schoolhouse. She attended Bay City Business College and worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
Lois was an avid reader of mystery novels and grew a beautiful backyard garden. She enjoyed travel, always ready for a spontaneous trip. Chicago was a favorite destination for theater, a Cubs game, and the Art Institute. Lois appreciated beauty all around, whether a sunset, painting or flower. She was resilient, compassionate, and had a generous spirit led by her strong Christian faith.
Lois is survived by her daughter Ann and was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry in 1990.
Lois' wishes were for no funeral service. Private burial will be at St Patrick Cemetery. As a remembrance, please consider St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
