Lois Sheeran, a wife, loving mother, grandmother, passed away on December 11th, 2025 at the age of 86.
Lois found great joy in the outdoors and loved to garden, where her patience and care brought beauty to everything she touched. Nurturing the flowers and her yard brought great pride.
Edward Sheeran, husband, father, grandfather, and accomplished architect, passed away on May 16th, 2020 at the age of 84.
As an architect, he had a gift for seeing both possibility and creation. Through his work, he created spaces that reflected practicality and enduring attention to detail. He took pride in building things meant to last with many projects of varying scale around metro Detroit.
Outside of his professional life, he had a lifelong passion for classic muscle cars-Mopars in particular. He and his son Scott spent many afternoons cruising in his restored 1971 Challenger. In addition to cars, Edward loved the Tigers, Lions and Red Wings.
Lois and Edward's greatest happiness came from their grandchildren Katie and Nick. They cherished every moment spent with them-celebrating milestones, sharing stories and creating memories filled with laughter. Their love for them was unwavering and unconditional.
As lifelong and devoted Catholics, their deep faith was the foundation of their lives. They lived their beliefs through service, and prayer, trusting deeply in God's grace. Their faith gave them strength in difficult times and guided them in caring for others with compassion.
Edward and Lois are survived by their children, David (Julie), and Scott (Meredith); and grandchildren, Katie and Nick. Edward is survived by his brothers, Richard and Steven and predeceased by brother, Anthony; and sisters, Dolores and Fran.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for both Edward and Lois at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in
Troy, MI on December 19th, 2025, with a private interment on December 20th, 2025 at Lake View Cemetery in
South Haven, MI.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made, in their memories, to the MS Society or Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN).
Both Edward and Lois will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for their faith, love of family and the beauty they brought into the lives of all who knew them.
