Lois Virginia Sorrel, 97 of South Carolina formally of Decatur, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, in her home.
Memorials can be made out to Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church or to the Vernon Cemetery. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting with the arrangements.
Lois was born in August of 1927, daughter of Viness and Florence Linton. She married Marvin Sorrel in June of 1947 and together they raised their daughter Nona. Lois was a lifelong member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian. She retired in 1985 from the Tile Co. and Avon where she worked as a representative for over 20 years. Her life was her family, and she loved flowers they always brightened her day. Lois will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She was survived by her daughter Nona (Dale) Morgan, grandchildren; Donelle Morgan, Danna Pogue and Denise Morgan, great grandchildren; Allen (Payton) Pogue, Allie Morgan, Breana (Hunter) Green, and Melissa (Austin) Pogue, and great-great grandchildren; Morgan Green, J.D. Green, Brinley Pogue, Aiden Morgan and Dean Thompson.
Preceded by her parents, husband, sister Donna, and nephew Rannie Lee.
