LOIS ANN WAGNER
Lois Ann (Reitmeyer) Wagner, 90, of Crivitz, WI, went Home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on May 23, 1935, in Menominee, MI, Lois was the daughter of the late Earl and Caroline (Valley) Reitmeyer.
Lois attended Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Marinette. She met the love of her life, Doug Wagner, Sr., and the two exchanged heartfelt letters while he served in the United States Army Military Police. They were married on January 30, 1954, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marinette, beginning a beautiful life together rooted in devotion, kindness, and service to others.
She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Marinette General Hospital, where her compassion and care touched many lives. She later worked at the Marinette County Courthouse, where her kindness and sense of service continued to shine through.
Lois had a gift for bringing comfort, joy, and music into the lives of others. She sang with the Sweet Adelines and in her church choir for many years, sharing her voice to bring peace and solace during funerals and times when others most needed comfort. Through her music, faith, and quiet strength, she touched hundreds of lives.
Lois loved gardening, the beauty of sunrises over Lake Noquebay, and time spent surrounded by her family.
Lois was blessed with a large and loving family. She is survived by her daughters Mary (George) Wolard and Jackie Schomaker, both of Crivitz; sons Doug (Karen) Wagner and Joseph (Carla) Wagner, both of Crivitz; and daughter Christy (Brian) Devroy of Peshtigo.
She is further survived by her sister Jackie Hagerty and brother Thomas (Sharon) Reitmeyer; her brother-in-law Gene (Carol) Wagner; her sister-in-law Marjorie Wagner; eight grandchildren: Eric (Holly) Theuerkauf, Jamie (Jack) Nolan, Jennifer (Michael) Heaney, Jessica (Joe) Hattam, Sarah (Steve Daly) Wolard, Patrick (Gabriela) Wolard, Tyler (Courtney) Schomaker, and Carly (Bill) Albert; and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doug, in 2010, and her sister, Marion.
The family extends special gratitude to her daughter Jackie Schomaker, whose unwavering love and care made it possible for Lois to remain at home, surrounded by comfort. Deep appreciation is also extended to Amanda Berg and Unity Hospice for their compassionate support.
Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church in Crivitz on Saturday, November 15, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. David Schmidt officiating. Lunch will follow in the parish social hall. Burial will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Wagner.
Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crivitz Food Pantry.
Lois lived a life filled with song, faith, and love. Her music and kindness will continue to echo through the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
