Ann was born October 6, 1955 in Winchester, a daughter of the late Allen David Bowman and Betty Lea Hoover Bowman. She enjoyed gardening in her free time as well as feeding any animals she crossed paths with in her day. From dogs, cats, and hamsters to squirrels, opossums and more; she was an avid animal lover. She was a very lively spirit whose biggest joy in life was making the family and friends around her laugh.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Nickens and Mindy Maphis-Kidwell; grandchildren, Makese Cooper-Nickens, Deonna Cooper-Nickens, Emma Kidwell; and brother, Mark Bowman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Keller.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 18, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00am at Jones Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
