A Celebration of Life for Lois Williams, will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025, 2:00 PM at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, until the commencement of the celebration at MK Dixon Funeral Home in Baldwin, LA.
Lois will be interred at Charity Baptist Cemetery in Franklin, LA.
Lois Marie Williams, was born on October 19,1964, to the late Antoine Reed & the late Lillie Mae Williams Reed in Lafayette, LA. She was the youngest of five children; David Williams, Jimmy Williams( Delores), Marjorie Polidore( Raymond), & Dave Williams.
Lois was a native of Oaklawn Plantation & a resident of Franklin, LA. At the age of 15, she dedicated her life to the Lord and was baptized under the leadership of Rev. Willie Ross, Sr. She was a member of St. Jude Spiritual Church in Franklin, LA. She attended & graduated from Bims Training Academy in Morgan City, LA. She later became a homemaker and helped her mother to take care of her father until his passing. She also did private duty as a sitter for 8 years as well. There after she took care of her mother until she became ill herself. There was no stone left unturned to her when it came to her family.
She loved to cook and invite everyone over. Lois was known for making her famous pecan candy & sweet potato pies. She always made sure she left an impact on everyone that came into contact with her.
Lois was the wife to Clarence A. William, Jr. for 38 years, together they had five children; three daughters, Tamekia Reed of Youngsville, LA, La’Toya Reed(Charvast) of Lafayette, LA, Avrianna Williams of Franklin, LA; two sons, Joseph Reed (Jessica) of Verdunville, LA, and Clarence Williams of Baton Rouge, LA; one adoptive daughter, Theresa Lopez of Franklin, LA; one adoptive son, Bryan (Pitts) Taylor of Pataskala, Ohio;
She was the grandmother of 18 grandchildren; adoptive grand daughter, Daisha Lopez of Thibodaux, LA; four great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Lois was loved by many and will be missed by all that cherished her.
Lois is proceeded in death by both parents, Antoine Reed & Lillie Mae Williams Reed; two brothers, David Williams & Jimmy Williams; five aunts; two uncles.
