April Michelle Williams

April Michelle Yarborough Williams, 53, of 259 Carver Holt Rd., Roxboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Born in Person County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Wayne Thomas Yarborough and Darrell Long, and Maggie Taylor Long, who survives. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Wayne Yarborough and her grandchild, Cyrus Donnie Williams. Mrs. Williams previously worked at the Stop and Shop and was of the Baptist faith. She loved going to the beach and working on puzzles, video games and collecting Pokeman cards. Mrs. Williams also made candles and soaps. She had a special love for all of her family, children, grandbabies and pets.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Williams is survived by her step-mother, Patricia Clayton; fiancé, William Reed Crowder; three children, Cody Wayne Williams (Jenna), Brooke Michelle Williams and Thomas Alexander Gravitt; her step-son, Cameron Scott Crowder; one brother, Ronald Thomas Yarborough; her half-brother, Dwayne Yarborough; three step-brothers, Robbie Long, Billy Gay, Travis Gay; two half sisters, Angela Fuller (Michael) and Patricia Pergerson (Chris); five grandchildren, Alaina Michelle Taranto, Kaiden Eli Williams, Macey Lee Neathery, Sunny Leanne Williams and Violet Raye Williams.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday at Theresa Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben Francis and the Rev. Herbert Brown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the services from 1:30-3PM Friday at the church and at other times at the home of her mother, 1490 Oxford Rd., Roxboro.

Pallbearers will be Cody Williams, Jacob Yarborough, Christopher Yarborough, Dylan Yarboro, Marcus Silvers and Glen Blume.
