Lois devoted 27 years of her life as a bus driver for the Channelview School District. She cherished every student she transported and cared for them as if they were her own children. Her commitment extended beyond the school district; after retiring from driving buses, she continued to serve others by volunteering for 12 years with the Smith Point Fire Department in Anahuac.
