David W. Woodfin, 41, of Beverly, passed away on October 25, 2025. Born and raised in Beverly, he was the beloved son of Clifford Woodfin Jr. and the late Catherine "Katie" E. Woodfin.
David took immense pride in his service with the Army National Guard. He cherished the camaraderie, the sense of purpose, and the honor of wearing the uniform.
Above all, David was most proud of being a father to Lily, Liam, and Jaxson - they were his world. He shared his love of art, crafts, cooking, hiking, kayaking, and adventuring with his children, creating countless cherished memories together.
David had a special bond with each of his children. Lily, his only daughter, was a true daddy's girl - always by his side, joining him on late-night walks after her brothers were asleep. He loved teaching her about the stars as they gazed through her telescope on clear nights. She will forever treasure the acrylic art projects they did together.
Liam was David's sidekick on adventures. Together they hunted for rare pieces of silver to add to Liam's collection and spent hours playing baseball- tossing the ball, practicing swings, and sharing laughs. They loved playing together, and Liam has so many cherished pictures of him and his dad goofing around.
As the baby, Jaxson always lit up when his dad walked into the room. David loved making him giggle, giving him bubble baths, taking him on walks, and pushing him on the swing. Jaxson loved just sitting quietly with his daddy, together at Independence Park watching the waves and sail boats.
He is survived by his partner Nicole Greeley and their son Jaxson; his children Lily and Liam, and their mother Kate Pydynkowski; his father, Clifford Woodfin Jr. of Brooksville, FL; his brother, James Woodfin and his wife, Jessica of Rowley; his sister, Jennifer Phillips and her husband, Patrick of Evans, GA; his brother-in-law Marcos Melo of Haverhill; his cherished Uncle Joseph Hill of Boxford; several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is predeceased by his mother Katie Woodfin; his sister Sam (Catherine) Woodfin; beloved Aunt Margaret Tito; and many other loving family members.
Funeral services for David will be private. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, MA 01915. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
