Lola Falla Boyes, aged 95, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and enduring strength. Lola was born in Managua, Nicaragua, to Virgilio Falla Lacayo and Matilde Sandigo Falla. As the eldest of sixteen, Lola assumed the role of matriarch early in life and, in time, outlived all her siblings.
She grew up in Granada, Nicaragua-a place she often remembered fondly, recalling her childhood and upbringing in minute detail. In 1958, Lola bravely immigrated to the United States, where she raised her three sons: Ricardo, Leandro, and Javier (Ingrid). Her beloved son Ricardo passed away in August 1998. Lola's family includes grandchildren Joshua, Eva, Ashley, Ricardo, and Erick, along with great-grandchildren Victor, Ricardo, June, Dominic, Rome, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Loved by many as "Tia Lolita," Lola's home was always welcoming, known for warmth and delicious meals offered with open arms to all who entered. She was forgiving, loving, selfless, courageous, and remembered for her beautiful laughter and smile. Her patience and perseverance were truly remarkable, and she quietly exemplified her deep faith in God, which remained her constant source of security and strength.
Lola found joy by having family, grandkids, nephews, and nieces surrounding her. She passed down values of prudence, patience, and unwavering faith, consistently demonstrating compassion and composure. Her legacy is one of devotion as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend-always giving, always strong.
Lola will be remembered for her heartfelt generosity, her resilient character, and the boundless love she shared with all who knew her.
