Lola Charlene Putman, a resident of Henryetta passed away Thursday, September 4th, 2025 at her home at the age of 86. She was born June 21st, 1939 in Corning, Arkansas to Orbin Glasgow and Emiline (Hinkle) Glasgow.
She worked for many years as a registered Dietician having worked at Henryetta Hospital, Fountain View Manor as well as the high school. She was a member of Wilson Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Odell Putman, Sr., a daughter Debra Jane Smith as well as seven of her brothers and four of her sisters.
She is survived by five children, Thomas Odell Putman, Jr. & wife Susan of Wilson, OK; Cecil Daniel Putman & wife, Denise of Schulter, OK; Lisa Charlene Strickland & husband, Doug of Kiefer, OK; Margaret Ann Campbell of Henryetta, OK; Amanda Susan Sorrels & husband Christopher of the home; a grandson that she raised as her own, Charles Putman & wife Angel of Henryetta, OK; Twenty-three grandchildren; Forty-five great grandchildren; Seven great-great grandchildren; also by a sister, Dolores Cartwright; also by a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Lola will be 6 - 8 pm Sunday, September 7th, 2025 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 8th, 2025 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Brad Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
The family would like to invite everyone to the Church of the Nazarene in Henryetta, OK for a potluck dinner following the graveside.
