Lola Slackman Obituary

Lola loved people and had a gift for forming long lasting relationships and friendships. Her unique talent for putting people at ease in any conversation and her true interest in their lives were one of the many things that made her so special. She was able to utilize those talents along with her organizational skills to be a successful business owner. Lola was also a wonderful cook. Among her best dishes were her amazing stuffed cabbage, delicious cherry pie and perfect Matzoh ball soup.
Lola is pre-deceased by her husband's Stuart Frankel and Peter Slackman. She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, Ilene and Robert, Alan and Caren, Eric and Nancy; 4 grandchildren along with their spouses/partners - Rachel and Amos, Robert and Amelie, Jacob and Christina, Gabrielle and Rob. Lola was also a proud great-grandmother to Jonah and Asher.
A chapel service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 10:15 am, at MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Beth Abraham Cemetery in East Brunswick. For directions, please see "Events" listed below.
