Lolita Peterson

Lolita Peterson, age 87 of Kelton, PA, passed away on December 2, 2008 at her home. She was the wife of Bud I. Peterson, with whom she shared 19 years of marriage. Born in Smith County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Gullian Atwell. Mrs. Peterson was a certified nurse's aide for thirty years at Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, traveling, and collecting knickknacks. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ernest Hall of Rural Retreat, VA; a stepson, David Peterson of West Grove, PA; two daughters, Doris Hand of Wytheville, VA and Ruby Osborne of Kennett Square, PA; 9 grandchildren; 2 stepgrandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
