Mr. Lon David Moore, age 87, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, in
Williamston, NC. Mr. Lon was a Master Barber in Martin County. His survivors include his wife Hermenia T. Moore of Williamston, NC; one son, Rama Moori of Randallstown, Md; two daughters, Netiti Moori of Chicago, IL and Tiyi Moori of Alexandria, VA; three sisters, Rosie Slade of Bridgeport, CT; Annie Williams of Philadelphia, PA and Margelene Thorne of Rocky Mount, NC . He is also survived by two grandchildren.
His public viewing will be held on Friday October 31, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Manson Mortuary Williamston, NC.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Manson Mortuary Chapel Williamston, NC. His interment will follow in Moore Cemetery 3277 Jones Road Williamston, NC 27892. Live streaming of the funeral service will be provided by accessing Manson Mortuary’s website (mansonmortuary.com), clicking onto Mr. Lon David Moore obituary page, and following the instructions at the bottom of that page.
